Bleach Septic System

BLEACH: Chlorine bleach should not be used. Oxygen bleaches are recommended. Oxygen bleaches can be used in any form, liquid, powder, or pellets.

Most laundry detergents contain sodium perborate or bleach which releases boron as it breaks down. Boron has a bactericidal effect which in excessive quantities could damage your treatment plant so that it is wise to keep bleach levels to a minimum.

Please read the owners manual and the conditions of the warranty. Your aerobic system is a biological
treatment system designed to achieve a high degree of treatment of domestic sewage. Providing routine
maintenance and following the recommendations of the owner's manual and your distributor will help insure optimum performance as well eliminate the cost of unnecessary service calls.
